The National Ballet of Canada has its very own fairy tale love story in principal dancers Heather Ogden and Guillaume Cote. Ogden hails from British Columbia while Cote calls Lac-Saint-Jean home, but their love of dance brought them together when they both found themselves working at The National Ballet in 1998.
They were praised for their on-stage chemistry after they were first partnered to dance in Romeo and Juliet, and the couple made their relationship official when they married in 2010.
Now, they share their love of dance with their love of Canadiana in a special photo shoot for Roots Canada. Showcasing the brand’s signature #sweatstyle, the two look fantastic and happily in love.
To celebrate, Roots Canada just wrapped a Twitter campaign entitled #CanadianLoveStory where they gave away an autographed souvenir book + pointe shoes worn by Ogden. The #CanadianLoveStory contests are continuing on Twitter, so make sure you’re following @RootsCanada and @NationalBallet for your chance to win!

The duo will dance together in SWAN LAKE which is on stage at The Four Seasons Centre for the Arts from March 8th-16th, 2014. For tickets or more information click here
In addition to their work with The National Ballet, the #CanadianLoveStory continues with a limited edition ‘Pom Pom Toque’. It’s adorable and proceeds go towards the Trans Canada Trail, which is committed to providing Canadians with a national network of safe, healthful greenway trails.
